I would like to fill an expanable in a dynamic way with the data from the sqlite query, this is the one, but when I show them in the expandablelistview they do not look the right way, showing the headings and subtitles (groups and subgroups), my code is the next

 grupos.add("11");
grupos.add("12");
grupos.add("13");

subGrupos.add("11");
subGrupos.add("12");
subGrupos.add("13");
subGrupos.add("13");

for (int i = 0; i < grupos.size(); i++)
for (int j = 0; j < subGrupos.size(); j++)
if (subGrupos.get(j).equals(grupos.get(i))) // son iguales
hijos.add(subGrupos.get(i));
else // si son diferentes
hashMap.put(grupos.get(i), hijos);
hijos.clear();
break;

hashMap.put(grupos.get(i), hijos);

adapter = new AdapterExpanable(this, grupos, hashMap);
expandableListView.setAdapter(adapter);
for (int i = 0; i < adapter.getGroupCount(); i++)
expandableListView.expandGroup(i);
