@kokemabb200: I wouldn't argue against his power level so much as I would say he is a walking plot device. His powers have no definable limit. He is basically Beyonder 2.0. I just find the idea of mutants with that kind of power level a bit absurd.

@spambot: You're right that he's a plot device, but writers need characters like him for when they've written themselves into a wall.. Then they can call on the almighty Franklin to save the day. BUT They don't do that often, most writers just stay away from characters like him and the Beyonder since they're difficult to write. That's why I love Jonathan Hickman. He took the two biggest plot devices in Marvel (Franklin + time travel) and was able to make a compelling story that had an intelligent ending. Not just "then Franklin appeared" or "they went back in time and stopped it from happening".

Having OP characters is also fun when you pit them against each other, like the Beyonder vs Molecule Man. I personally really enjoy the larger than life conflicts (and think there should be more), it's cool seeing the Living Tribunal and Eternity and abstracts of similar ilk interacting.

But I completely understand how someone can be turned off by a character having so much power... ;)

@spambot: I kind of disagree as I think for continuity sake its good to have a franklin or hom Wanda or whomevet. If they didn't exist then marvel would have to have the reboots that DC seems to think they have to do every 5 years or so. Now grant it secret wars is proving that you can reboot or streamline a multiverse through good ole fashion storytelling but it did save marvel a ton of reboots..

@newecho: I'm not completely against those kinds of characters. I just don't think mutants should be that powerful. Beyonder is literally the personification of an entire universe so it makes sense he would have insane power levels. A human being born as a mutant I don't think should be a universal reality warper though along the lines of FR, MJJ or possibly Wanda.

Faust knows anything that is story driven. If it has a ton of words then he knows it lol... I don't think any of them really know comics in a battle forum style tho.. Sal is the one I watch every week tho and pick and choose the other guys.. Nerdsync is another channel I like but he really doesn't know comics at all...

@newecho: Yeah sal knows a lot i'd say rob knows more marvel then him and benny more DC. But faust knows the teen titans...

Well yeah that is fair,, but it did give for interesting stories instead of making the same villain all the time resetting their timeline...

@newecho: I think nerdsync seems to know a lot of trivia considering old comic. I honestly think variant or the CBC or maybe even the CV site admins may know less then the TWP.
