Bane is finally making comeback in DC and I've been loving Lucifer even though I never read the original series.

Love that Hellblazer cover. I wish they had art like that for the interiors. I dropped that book a while back, largely because the art never seemed to fit the tone of that book, and I'm not usually one to be too nit-picky about artists.

Hopefully the Bane covers and solicits are only that vague because they dont want to spoil because admittedly the first 2 sound very thin.

That said based on the art style and the Dixon interview I like that this will be a crime noir with Bane, would never have expected Bane to star in that type of story/genre, he's always been more of an action character.

I really hope this will be one of the better modern crime thrillers.

@entropy_aegis: Yeah, I agree. Hopefully, it will be good since I'll drop Batman main title after the button.

So, Bane will be about 10-12 issues right?

Also, will it deal with the repercussions of "I amBane" or is

this completely on it's own?

@eto: Its 12 issues yes.

Its set after I am Bane, that's what I know for now. Hopefully 12 issues of a crime noir in the style of old school pulp fiction which should be fitting given that Bane was inspired by Doc Savage.

@eto: Its 12 issues yes.

Its set after I am Bane, that's what I know for now. Hopefully 12 issues of a crime noir in the style of old school pulp fiction which should be fitting given that Bane was inspired by Doc Savage.

@eto: Its 12 issues yes.

Its set after I am Bane, that's what I know for now. Hopefully 12 issues of a crime noir in the style of old school pulp fiction which should be fitting given that Bane was inspired by Doc Savage.
