Do u think Titanic deserved to win Best Picture over LA Confidential and Good Will Hunting?

I never watched this Good Will Hunting,but cause I don't really into romantic story so I voting the hunting.

I voted for Good Will Hunting because Titanic was a pile of shit

Good Will Hunting was one of my favorite movies and after studying Psychology as a majors degree, considering how much Carl R. Rogers' Person Centered Theory approach (The psychologist forming a close bond with his or her client to help them grow to self actualization) clearly inspired the movie, I love it even more now.

Good Will Hunting by a good margin. At least for me

LA Confidential should have won Best Picture, with GWH being the runner-up. Spectacle aside, Titanic does not really hold up against those two.

GWH completely blew my expectations. Titanic is overrated (however still a great film)

Titanic will always have a special place in my heart.

@skywalker95: Yeah pretty much the same thing happened to 1994 when Forrest Gump won Best Picture over The Shawshank Redemption and Pulp Fiction.

Also don't forget Shakespeare In Love won Best Picture over Saving Private Ryan in 1998.

Those who chose GWH is a personal choice but you can't deny the fact that Titanic is an extraordinary movie.

Titanic was the worst pile of blubbery school girl mush that has ever been my misfortune to insult my couch's arse groove with.

Haven't seen GWH, but titanic was very overrated imo.
