What's the worst anime adaption to your favorite manga?? The top anime that just butchered their manga counterparts and didn't do them justice in your opinion.

Berserk (2016-17)

Nausicaa of The Valley of the Wind. The Manga is SO much better. The movie didn't have much focus and the characterization is a lot thinner. Kushana is a generic extremist in the anime with a half baked Freudian excuse. In the manga while she did horrible things she was a self sacrificing warrior who cared deeply for her men and has understandable motives for what she does. Ah well at least it has good music.

The new Berserk

Berserk. The music and voice acting are great but the animation is ass. Also, Toriko.

Easily Negima for me. Just a terrible adapdation, but as its own thing, is terrible, but not the worst thing I seen.

Terra Formars season 2 was bad too.

Never got into the Medaka Box anime

Tokyo Ghoul: re has had a fairly bad anime adaptation so far. I also wasn't a big fan of the Zetman adaptation.

It had some things going for it. It had good animation. The God Warrior scene was awesome. It had a nice bouncy soundtrack. And I guess on a very basic level I can get into the plot. The Manga just kinda ruined it for me. It's just much deeper, more well defined characters and motivations, really good worldbuilding, and fantastic artwork and action scenes. Kushana was the biggest sin to me; she was my favorite character in the manga and he completely blew it in the movie.

As movies I prefer Laputa and Mononoke.

Kingdom. Tried to go the CGI route and tried to edit out the blood. Awful. Just awful.

I never read Pandora Hearts, but I heard the manga is really good. The anime -- which I did watch -- was a different story.

One Piece or Katekyo Hitman Reborn

Oh boy where to start!

1. Beserk - Yikes

2. Toriko - Toei Animation screwed this up. Censored the hell out this show and forced that news lady to be a character just to take up time. Toei is horrible. This needed a different studio other than Perriot.)

3. Tokyo Ghoul - Smh

4. Terra ForMars - What the hell happened? Season 1 was good but my god season 2 was atrocious

5. Shaman King - Ufotable take care of this please

This. Toriko anime didn't just get the tip, it got the whole thang. Hope they remake it to fit the manga better, and include Gourmet World
