We have an N2CSM based site. Root Page -> Languageintersection -> Startpage
, titled "en". Site hostname == en.mysite.com
. Language set to en-IE.
Content page titled mypage is accessible under URL en.mysite.com/mypage.
One day, we decided we wanted to add support for French. We just added new Start-page with language fr-CA titled "fr". Had to change from site hostename to site collection hostname = en.mysite.com
Subpage "myfrpage" under the fr-CA start-page gets URL en.mysite.com/fr/myfrpage.
After we added the new start-page for fr-CA, "mypage" is no longer accessible under en.mysite.com/mypage. We get a 404 error. It is now changed to en.mysite.com/en/mypage. This is terrible for Google ranking. Is there any way to have URLs for one of the start-pages not add an extra level on the path?
