It seems possible.

Nick Fury, in the post-credits scene of Avengers: Infinity War, looks horrified to see everyone around him turning to dust. However, he doesn't look surprised, and immediately sends Captain Marvel a distress signal. Is it possible he knew what was going to happen? Is that why he put together the Avengers in the first place?

I feel like Capt Marvel was like the emergency call for a universal threat like that. But not specifically for the Snap.

Fury would probably need to have some knowledge on the general threat level the world is facing to react that way, so I would imagine it's at least possible that he knew of Thanos' plan, and he definitely has his people around the globe - in fact, Coulson's team heard of Thanos invading earth by the Confederacy before he or the Black Order even arrived. I doubt they'd make such strong connection between AoS and the films, although it's worth noting that Fury is one of the people who crossover'd more than once with the series.

Ultimately, it could just be Tuesday for Fury. The Russos really showed how prepared he is for impossible scenarios, like when Hydra and the Winter Soldier attempted to assassinate him. This is another level, sure, but it could just mean he processed what was happening well enough to understand what was needed. Notice that he looks around for a while, and only proceeds to make the call after Hill also vanishes and he himself begins to do so. Doesn't look like an attitude someone who would be prepared for this specific scenario would have.

We should wait for further detail in A4 or Captain Marvel though. This will definitely be explained, interesting topic.
