I'm going with Archangel. Hawkman has superior physicals but Warren's wings are Celestial tech and will act independently to protect him from harm. Even with morals on the wings just may decapitate Hawkman without Archangel even wanting them to.

Archangel, IMO.

Leaning towards Archangel.

Archangel should win here. The biggest advantage is flight speed and range. Hawkman's flight speed is sub mach 5, (only supersonic). Archangel is hypersonic. Furthermore Hawkman has no ranged attacks that I know of. Archangel's pinions not only give him reach, but the paralyzing poison in them could also slow down Hawkman's healing factor.

Archangel...he's faster and more agile...and his wings won't hesitate to kill anyone, coz it has a mind of its own...

Archangel takes this after a good fight.

I'll say hawkman takes a slight majority. His durability and healing factor is much higher, and the nth metal has a mind of its own as well. It will form additional armor over vulnerable points that are about to get hit. I believe it is fast enough to react to bullets, but I have no scans to prove that

First of all, I find it one of the better battles of DCMarvel "near-counterpart" competition set off, both are winged, ruthless and alike in many ways but still so different.

Anyway, I say Archangel wins. He flies and cuts almost through anything, his killer blitzes are also very well-established and it can be a major advantage. While Hawk can regrow limbs via Nth metal, it takes time and being cut in two doesn't help the case either.

I'd like to hear other options though.

I say Warren chops Carter in half. Carter unquestionably has superior stats, but he has no piercing durability, and no answer to Warren's wings, which provide him with a greater range than Carter has with his mace.

I definitely lean towards Warren.
