I made this thread because I wanted to put the best, fully human swordsman (afaik) from the witcherverse against the GoT guys, who are all human as well. All combatants are standard gear and in character, Leo is healed between each round. All fights take place in the arena where Oberyn and the Mountain fought in King’s landing.
Round 1: Arya Stark
Round 2: Bronn
Round 3: Khal Drogo
Round 4: Tormund Giantsbane
Round 5: John Snow
Round 6: Brienne of Tarth
Round 7: Gregor Clegane
Round 8: Oberyn Martell
Round 9: Sandor Clegane
Round 10: Prime Jaime Lannister
Round 11: Robert Baratheon
Round 12: Ser Arthur Dayne
Round 13: Prime Barristan Selmy

Shouldn't Bronn be above Jon?? And also isn't Dayne supposed to be above Barristan, even in his prime?

@rukelnikovftw: Bronn has one good feat of killing a renowned knight and was getting punked by a random dothraki. John has multiple notable showing against named opponents.
And George R R Martin said they’d be roughly equal.

He said it would go either way with normal swords but Dayne would win if he had Dawn, does he have Dawn here? It would be standard gear.
Also I think Prime Jaime is above Robert.

@socajunkie: eh I’d say Robert has a massive gear advantage against Jamie in full plate with his great hammer. And yeah you’re probably right about switching Dayne and barristan, dawn is standard gear.
Any take On The gauntlet?

Well, I hold Bronn higher, mainly because Jamie generally speaks very highly of him as a swordsman. And now that I think about it Bronn does as well against Jamie on a regular basis than Brienne did with better gear, against a handcuffed, malnourished, unarmed and mentally unstable Jamie.
Yeah, he should actually be above Brienne.
Forget that, Brienne has a Valyrian sword, Bronn doesn't AFAIR.

@lubub55: @rukelnikovftw: sandor has better feats, and when he lost to Brienne, arya noted that sandor was moving slower than usual, due to the infection from the bite he received form the bandit. At 100%, I'd put my money on Sandor everytime. Bronn was being pressed and running away fro a single dothraki warrior. briennes feats blow his out of the water, as does jon's
amalgam tv/book versions, that's why I put Robert so high. how do you think the order could be fixed, and whats your take on the gauntlet.

@phillip33: I didn't remember that about Sandor being infected. And as I said I haven't read the books, so based solely on the series I'd say:
Dayne
Prime Barristan
Prime Jamie
Oberyn
Bronn/Brienne/Sandor (can't decide)
Gregor
Jon
Tormund
Arya
I don't really know where to place Drogo and Bob, I don't remember any of their fighting scenes, I think Bob was in the Tower of Joy fight against Dayne but not sure.
About the challenger I've only played the games and don't remember him, but going by kid Ciri, who was unenhanced I'd say peak humans from witcherverse are above anything shown in GoT.

Well, as I said, kid Ciri's agility could already be considered peak human, and Geralt calls her "barely a novice", that says to me that as an adult Ciri should be above anyone on the list, if this guy beat her, he should be above her.
After all, Dayne who was supposed to be best swordsman in westeros was killed by 3 or 4 above average to good fighters.

I made this thread because I wanted to put the best, fully human swordsman (afaik) from the witcherverse against the GoT guys, who are all human as well. All combatants are standard gear and in character, Leo is healed between each round. All fights take place in the arena where Oberyn and the Mountain fought in King’s landing.
Round 1: Arya Stark
Round 2: Bronn
Round 3: Khal Drogo
Round 4: Tormund Giantsbane
Round 5: John Snow
Round 6: Brienne of Tarth
Round 7: Gregor Clegane
Round 8: Oberyn Martell
Round 9: Sandor Clegane
Round 10: Prime Jaime Lannister
Round 11: Robert Baratheon
Round 12: Ser Arthur Dayne
Round 13: Prime Barristan Selmy

@rukelnikovftw: Bronn has one good feat of killing a renowned knight and was getting punked by a random dothraki. John has multiple notable showing against named opponents.
And George R R Martin said they’d be roughly equal.

He said it would go either way with normal swords but Dayne would win if he had Dawn, does he have Dawn here? It would be standard gear.
Also I think Prime Jaime is above Robert.

Forget that, Brienne has a Valyrian sword, Bronn doesn't AFAIR.

cheking it further, it is very out of order, why is Brienne below Sandor? When they fought she destroyed him

@rukelnikovftw: he stomped 5 way above average swordsman attacking him at the same time, and stomped Ciri before she gained her powers.
