Clark could speedblitz. Don't know if he'd go for the gauntlet but he most definitely wins. Equalize speed and this is a really interesting battle.

Thanos erases him.

IIRC, some kind of reality forming entity failed to erase Clark from resistance so I don't see what Thanos is going to do to him.

Superman stood in the bleed in season 11 which was erasing entire universes, yet it couldn't erase him.

Not sure how I missed this one, but yeah it's a mismatch. Even with speed equalized it would be a mismatch. This Clark is far stronger than Thanos, far more durable and has withstood energy that was erasing universes. Thanos really doesn't have a way to win.

I like how after more than a decade, Smallville Clark is still grossly powerful despite new supers coming into the light.

Mismatch. Thanos couldn’t handle b-list avengers on titan with the exception of strange. superman would literally one-shot. Thanos was hurt by Spider-Mans kicks.

So if you’re staggered by a low-mid tier, it isn’t impressive. The point is, someone massively weaker than superman hurt him. Clark would stomp, and it’s not close.

And he wasn't staggered. He got kicked then quickly looked behind trying to see where Spidey would come from next. I don't think you're actually seen the scene.
