Jinpachi was much harder. At least you can side step most of Azazel's front attacks! Jinpachi has this annoying forcefield defense that leaves you stunned for 3 seconds. That's really cheap considering when you're in the attack!

I'd say Jinpachi was tougher but you know, this was when I wasn't so good at Tekken. Azazel's nothing special in terms of a boss battle, he just looks intimidating.

Really? You must be playing it in the hardest mode then. When he attacks, the most dangerous move is the side tail spin. Everytime you knock him down he teleports up above you and dives down. This is where you sorta side step and punish him. I noticed that Azazel has more HP than Jinpachi. It takes 5 of Law's super punch to kill it. Only 2 for Jinpachi, but that's if you're lucky. Jinpachi's stun forcefield leaves you open for some for some serious KO. And he also teleports backwards fireball which is annoying too.  From my experience, Azazel is just hard to kill, while Jinpachi can kill you in 5 seconds.

On the hardest level, I am yet to be beaten by Azazel... And I'm not even that good a Tekken player. And cheap shots from characters I'm not good at work for that loser!
 
On the medium level, using my best fighter (Kazuya), Jinpachi still makes me wanna throw my PS2 out the window out of frustration. Jinpachi makes me feel like I should never play Tekken again cause I'm so f*ckin inferior to him.

I think Jinpachi would win in a fight, and about Mishima characters if Jin counts as one (I know he's a Kazama by name) I'm in support for him. In Tekken 5 Jin was one of the characters with a very limited move list. In Tekken 6 it opened up but I think it might not be a great change, but it reflects an increase in the pace of the game, which can be both good and bad.

eh.... I found Azazel tougher. My bro actually beat Jinpachi double perfect on the hardest difficulty as Steve Fox.

Jinpachi was very difficult to kill compared to Azazel, so I'll say the former.

@saiyan_earthling: the idea is who'd win in a battle based on their abilities, powers you know   judging by your avatar i'd say your a fan of kazuka

IMO, Jinpachi is the hardest fight.

Sure, Azazel's fights are annoying, and you gotta time some stuff right, but with Jinpachi, it's often fucking impossible to time anything right. It may take many hits to kill Azazel, but Jinpachi obliterates you if you blink at the wrong moment. Health bar just goes from full to poof
