Earth Bending vs Bullet Bending

wesley has unlimited bullets (just like in 80's action movies)

Setting really matters here. I'm feeling that Toph could just drop him into a fissure, but Wesley is fast. Not too sure about this one.

Wesley puts a bullet in her head before she can react. The guy could shoot the wings off flies.

Toph has never shown bullet-time reactions, plus she has no idea what a gun is so she wouldn't know what to expect from it, also because the bullets in the air she can't see it. Not to mention Wesley has never missed a shot, ever.

And if Toph can prevent Wesley from firing he can't win. Not only can she hold the bullets, she can probably remove his weapons, empty the clip, seal the barrels, etc. Wesley doesn't stand a chance.

I don't think you understand. Obviously Toph is more than powerful enough to do all this, but Wesley is capable of killing her before she can react to do it.

I understand that the more range they have the better Wesley's odds are, but if she simply cages the earth around her she could buy time to do all of the things I've talked about. Unless Wesley begins this fight with his weapon already drawn and instantly fires a shot he loses.

Do you have any idea how fast Wesley is? He could empty a clip in her before she could do anything. Not to mention that she needs to be in direct contact with metal to bend it and the whole idea behind metal bending is that she effects the earth-impurities in said metal which while common in avatar metals, would be far less prominent in modern firearms. And, I just want to say one more time, she has no idea what a gun is, how would she know to even expect a projectile?

If Wesley can get a shot in before Toph raises up a earth shield, then he wins. If not, Toph wins every time. She throws up and earth wall and waits for Wesley to stay in one place. Just one second of standing still and he's a goner.

So Toph doesn't know what a gun is but Wesley knows what an Earthbender is? And what exactly are Wesley's speed feats? He's a guy with a gun and good reflexes whose main powers rely on accuracy. He needs to raise his arms and squeeze his fingers to use a gun and Toph needs to raise her arms to protect herself. If Toph's shields herself she can win, even with only relying on earthbending.

The first bullet would have to connect with Toph before she closed herself in, or she could just case him up to his shoulders in rock before he shoots.

He's capable of dodging bullets and deflecting bullets with knives...

His accuracy is superhuman as well

The movie version more so the same besides being a bullet timer and never missing.

I haven't seen wanted in long time so I could be wrong in his movie version department.

@dngn4774: First of all, who cares if he knows what earth bending is, he's going to shoot her before it matters. As for speed here he is reflecting a bullet with a knife.

Notice that he wasn't even holding the knife at the time of the shooting. How's that for reaction speed. Now here he is taking out a whole room of people faster than Fox can finish a word.

Movie Version

Toph wins, the moment he goes for the gun, those vibrations will travel directly to Toph's mind and she will react accordingly.

Wesley drops her before she thinks bending.

Movie version Wesley gets stomped but comic Wesley stomps Toph.
