@kuroimugetsu: Question. This technique affects the five sense right? So how is it any different from Narutoverse genjutsu? Genjutsu affects all the senses as well and make you see things that aren't there, even making you fight something that isn't there or restrain you when you aren't restrained in reality. It is essentially the same thing right? The only difference I'm seeing is AOE and longevity compared to some genjutsu techniques. The difference here is that no one in Bleach has any sort of defense against such an illusion while Narutoverse ninjas are trained for that sort of thing. The only reason Yamamato found Aizen was because he had his sword impale him. In short...Yamamato has absolutely no defense against genjutsu unless it was created via a physical object invading his body which his reiatsu can sense. Did I get everything right?

So would Fodder in Naruto be able to resist Aizens KS?

@rektpride: u got a fee things right ks aoe < pretty much any genjutsu it can make u experience what the user wants you to as wel, so also correct. but the major difference is this. as shinigami soul reapers already have an ability called "reiatsu sensing" they can determine who an individual is by sensing their spiritual pressure. so in other words if they somehow lost their sight, sound, touch, smell and taste they could still sense via reiatsu. yet they weren't even capable of realising where aizen was, despite being right next to them, or.not there at all. so yes reiatsu sensing is like a 6th sense yet they were still helpless

@saint_of_origin: @unspokenkiz: Depends. You don't have to be a "genjutsu" type in order to remove such an illusion. The ninjas of the Narutoverse uses their chakra to expunge any of their opponent's chakra from their systems in order to dispel the illusion. If we use energy equalizers then the same thing should apply to this illusion as well. Even Sakura in Part 1 could use the "Release" technique (better known as Kai) to dispel illusions by the Chunin Exams. Not very far in the series. The difficult part would be in noticing the illusion in the first place. Most fresh genin would have no clue, more experienced genin would be able to notice if they're smart enough. Most chunin would see through most genjutsu easily and only the most powerful of genjutsu would catch a jonin off guard. So it really depends. But we are talking about top-tier ninjas that have dealt with sharingan-genjutsu which are more powerful than your typical genjutsu so...I'd say that such a illusion such as KS would be seen through easily in experienced chunin and up but still breakable by experienced genin and up.

@isbobreallybob: before or after physically touching the sword. and if u argue before than realize there was an instance in which yamamoto appeared out of his fire and tried to attack aizen, only to realize he was under ks. it's only when he got stabbed with aizens sword and was (gathers a deep breath) PHYSICALLY TOUCHING THE GOD DANG SWORD WAS HE ABLE TO COMPREHEND HIM

@thevivas: @kuroimugetsu: Ok then. This question is for both of you. How exactly does KS create the illusion? I don't recall it being stated in the manga but how does KS trick the senses of a shinigami? Like, does it enter into their systems and mess them up internally? Or does it cover the area and "pull the curtains over their eyes" so to speak? This is a good chance to settle how KS works once-and-for-all for everyone involved. An example if anyone still doesn't understand is that the Narutoverse uses genjutsu by using their chakra to enter their enemies' body through some functions (eyesight, sound, regular jutsu etc) and then use that chakra to make them see, feel, hear, etc things that the user wishes. So how does KS do it?

@rektpride: Well Aizen's KS is like the Sharingan kinda at the same time different, 1st it has a area of effect, 2nd like the Sharingan ability Tsukuyomi but people if skilled enough can sense they are in a illusion but can't get out unless they touch his sword I posted scans of it earlier at post 142, forgot what else I was going to say.

I don't see how anyone could Break KS even with Equalization to be honest,unless they can straight up nullify it .It's like the whole Argument with Yhwach vs Ichibei that if Yhwach could resist Ichibei's hax with Almighty any Naruto Top Tier can resist it...

@rektpride: actually a good question.

1). i believe shunsui powers are considered low level reality warping with his games. a very localized reality warping at least

2). therfore I think ks is something like thay (possibly) as the mechanics have never been explained.

3). if it isn't low level localized reality warping than it is either magic or simple will power.

4). at any rate it is not required to have reiryoku or any other special energy to manipulate. once u see it, you are trapped for life, regardless. it has never failed and never been broken (so far that I know) along with its aoe, it is honestly spammable/ almost unavoidable (if you do not possess knowledge of its working)

5). finally it shows no signs of having its ability. as opposed to the strangeness of the sharingan eyes. it just looks like a regular sword. which Maes catching his opponents off gyard simple

aizen has single handedly solid the entire espada and gotei 13 witb, this hax alone. he even solid another user who could alter your receptions of up down left right etc... the real potency is that it never fades. and oh yea NOT AN ILLUSION!! it is called kanzen saimin or complete hypnosis. 1 look is all it takes

@unspokenkiz: People who are skilled at seeing through ullisions(i.e. a lot of Naruto characters) and people who have sensing abilities outside of their five senses can break it.

@kingogkings777: I see, but I think I've said it before. That could be more along the line of no on in the Bleachverse having any kind of illusion-breaking ability. For something like Tsukuyomi, even though they try to break the illusion with Genjutsu Kai, they still won't come out of it. That is why Tsukuyomi is so terrifying. So does KS equal something that impressive? I kinda doubt it since I haven't seen anything like that in Bleach. So far from what I gather it just seems to be a very AOE and long-lasting illusion.

@kuroimugetsu: A hypnosis can be considered a type of illusion though right? At least for the the split second it requires to trick the senses to believe that whatever the user wants the victim to see is the reality so to speak. Though, that is based on the assumption that KS is a literal hypnosis. Just because something is called something doesn't mean that is what it is right? Now onto reality-warping. Reality-warping is as the name implies, to change what reality is in the area to a different reality depending on the user. Now he is another good question. How can it be a reality-changer if it requires someone to look upon the KS in the first place? If KS changes reality of the area already why the needed sight? Wouldn't it already have changed the reality of the area regardless of whether people got "caught in a trap" so to speak? Idk, to me it still sounds more like an illusion. From what I've heard in the responses, it acts sorta like a sharingan-genjutsu that distorts your view of reality to the user's reality. At least that is what I gather so far.

In 8 years maybe. Would love to see the others that keep theirs secret too. Also to the illusion thing there was a episode I think was filler where Aizen was using a spell/I don't remember the name to cloak himself but Shinji destroyed it. The title is wrong though.

@rektpride: I went to the bleach wiki since I remembered that this happened but not where exactly, and it said chapter -107, page 18 and it wasn't there so just typed it into youtube. The episode was 207 near the end.
