Nicol Bolas is the ultimate evil of MTG, which is a card-game that's >>>> Yugioh.

He's a nigh-omnipotent reality warper, at least from what I have heard.

@the_legendary_supersaiyan_hulk: like he said he's neigh-omnipotent. His attacks can send fractures throughout the multiverse. He can regenerate from his soul. Reality warping, time manipulation, telepathy is his goto power, soul manipulation too...really not much he can't do.

With his omnipotence ripped from him and reduced to a shadow of his former self he's still planetary+. On Ahmonkhet he dictated the movement of a star for the next 60 years. He also soloed the entire pantheon of gods of Ahmonkhet. Then he physically warped all the monsters on Ahmonkhet to resemble his visage including dragons, demons, and angels. A new feat he got just this week from Vivian Reid's stories is that Bolas destroyed her home plane of Skala with fire one day and Vivian is the only survivor.

So yea being a shadow of his former power still has him casting physical warping on a planetary scale, burning Skala which equals a planet and moving a star.

But you think yugioh is good?

@mylittlefascist: YGO! is okay. It's kind of like a thing you come back to every now and then. My last hiatus from it was 2 years long. It's fun, and a lot of builds can be pretty interesting. (Currently messing around with an Invoked Neospacian build)

Current meta is kind of like playing solitaire though, so.. waiting for that new banlist to neuter Gouki.

My favorite TCG was Chaotic, which is currently dead(though I've heard rumors of it coming back).

@the_legendary_supersaiyan_hulk: Eh. MTG is way more balanced, and the color system is pretty unique and keeps things interesting. Plus it has much better lore/story.

@mylittlefascist: Not interested. I'd preferably play the DBS TCG.

MTG is too slow imo. I know people irl who play and watched them play before YGO! stuff started. Very uninteresting. The only deck I'd consider playing is one based around that Revel in Riches card, and that's just for the gimmicky win condition that reminds me of Exodia/Final Countdown

@the_legendary_supersaiyan_hulk: There are many different ways to build a deck. Not all of them are slow. Red and green cards for example can be quite fast and aggressive.

@the_legendary_supersaiyan_hulk: Also, hurry up and respond to Bantha with some zorc feats.

@pharoh_atem: He's the last Elder Dragon in the multiverse, selfish and manipulative to a default, and one of the most powerful beings in The lore. The big bad guy of the Magic the Gathering multiverse

Don't know who Zorc is, but unless he is solar system +, he probably loses.

IIRC didnt Ultimate Dragon give Zorc a hard time?

@laurus: zorc iirc defeated the 3 Egyptian gods Slifer, Obelisk, and Ra and was defeated by the pharaoh Atem( Yami Yugi) that’s all I really remember. Honestly Zorc has no indication until his reveal in the final arc i don’t really know why he was even added tbh.

Purely because BEWDUD was a strong source of "light" which counteracts with the darkness.

@laurus: I don’t really remember how powerful they were when they were actual creatures in ancient times since most of their appearances are via the game itself
