@koays: @ashetdust: They mean how Xavier managed to take Jeans memories without Jean struggling or fighting back. From my viewpoint, I think Jean simply was blindsided, since I see no reason why wouldn’t it is incapable of fighting back. She doesn’t necessarily need to win, but at least show her competence, like she did in the Revolution Era when someone stole her memories.

See? Going by what happened in this issue, Jean was capable of fighting back, yet she still lost her memories in the process of kicking the person out. The people may not be Xavier, but Jean is competent enough to fight back on her own. Ergo why the best explanation in regards to this is that she was blindsided. Didn’t see it coming.

Meh. This is why I don't spend a lot of time in the battle forum or splitting hairs with people over every single little plot point or feat that a character has done. A week can go by and the next writer in the chain changes what came before. I prefer to go by a more generalized feel for a character rather than the specifics. Its easier on my sanity, such as it is.

The characterization of Jean was terrible yet again. It's as if, X-men Red is not even going on. She hopeful in Red and about to quit in this annual. WTF??? Does anyone talk to each other in the X-office?????? Jean says Cable is her son issues after she tells Rachel not to call her mom...

Thank God for X-men Red but everything else is a hot mess.

and Jean is cables mother, she raised him from when he was a baby to when he was 12. Rachel is adamant full grown woman she just met who calls her mom

@adamtrmm if you could look at post #11, do you think he says "Jean is more powerful than X" in a Jean is superior to X manner or the same way we say she is more powerful as in she has more raw power
