Create sub graph from Source and Sink of each element

0

I am trying to create a flow or graph with Akka Streams where I am having an input of FtpFile (from Alpakka) which I would like to save to a local file (with FileIO.toFile) and once it is done I would like to emit the path to the local file.

So essentially I am starting with a Source<FtpFile, ?>. When I download a file I can map each FtpFile from the source to a Source<ByteString, ?> which is the source of bytes for this file. For each FtpFile I can also create a Sink<ByteString, ?> on a local path.

I have tried to create an image illustrating the flow:

enter image description here

The idea of the box is that the inner part is some sort of a subflow and it should only continue once the inner flow is completed. As indicated the Download File step in the flow creates a Source<ByteString>. I am facing problems creating a graph that is accepting elements of type FtpFile, and for each element creates its own Sink<ByteString> where it can run the source to. This sink needs to be specific for each upstream element.
