The Disney/Fox deal has just happened recently.

Which means that someday, the X-Men, Fantastic Four and potentially even Deadpool will join the MCU. However, what if Marvel had decided not only to get the rights back to Spider-Man from Sony, but also the rights to the Fox heroes as well?

Age of Ultron would be used as a backdoor introduction for mutants, and Quicksilver wouldn't have died

What I could see happening is the mind stone possibly sending out a ton of energy, causing some people to develop powers like Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch. However, Wolverine, Magneto, Xavier and Apocalypse would already exist due to unrelated reasons. Also, Marvel wouldn't have killed off Quicksilver as he is important to the X-Men narrative. However, he might leave the team and join the X-Men later.

The shameful 2015 Fantastic Four reboot never would have happened

And that would be awesome, to say the least.

"X-Men: Apocalypse" would wind up being a reboot

Honestly, I think it would have been the perfect way to bring the X-Men into the MCU: assemble a basic team (which I could see consisting of Professor X, Wolverine, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Beast, Iceman, Angel, Colossus, Storm, Quicksilver, Nightcrawler, Rogue and Kitty Pryde) and pit them against an unused villain (Apocalypse). With Marvel Studios behind the wheel, it might have been much better than the just-okay movie we actually got.

The Fantastic Four would have been introduced in Captain America: Civil War

Like Spider-Man, they'd be relatively easy to introduce. They'd probably side with Iron Man and maybe be his "Secret Weapon" or something like that.

The X-Men and Fantastic Four would appear in Avengers: Infinity War

I could see them showing up in Wakanda to fight Thanos, and of course half of them not feeling so good and disappearing into dust when Thor didn't go for the head. (Not sorry.)

Deadpool would have cameos in lots of MCU films

I couldn't see him getting his own movie, but I could see him have cameos in movies like Stan Lee.

This is honestly how I wish things had gone. What do you think? Comment!
