History

The Mystical Jack O'Lantern is a magical artifact gifted to the original Irish hero called Jack O'Lantern, Daniel Cormac by the Sidhe, or faeries of Ireland, ruled over by Queen Maeve. The Sidhe took a liking to Daniel and granted him a Mystical Jack O'Lantern. The magics of Queen Maeve imbued the Lantern to grant its bearer various magical fairy-like abilities while welding it.

For a short time Marvin Noronsa is a native born citizen of Bialya who takes over the Jack O'Lantern identity at Queen Bee's command. Noronsa had trouble tapping into the Lantern's magic and the Queen Bee experimented on the artifact. After the scientific modifications to the Lantern the Queen Bee then bestows the newly tech-oriented Lantern to Noronsa and he is than able to use it. Noronsa is killed in an explosion caused by Colonel Sumaan Harjavti.

After the death of Daniel the Jack O'Lantern identity and lantern passed down to his cousin, Liam McHugh who next used the lantern which had magically reverted to its original state.

Powers and Attributes

A magical artifact gifted to Daniel by a fairy, the lantern grants its bearer various fairy-like abilities. Flight, energy projection (mystical fire), teleportation, illusion casting, enhanced superhuman strength and agility, and fog generation. The Lantern will double his power level at midnight, but the power of the lantern is at its weakest at noon, and gradually returns to its peak at midnight.

Liam McHugh has found a way to internalize the powers of the mystical lantern, and no longer needs to carry it. However this has not shown that the Lantern itself is powerless and is itself still the original mystical connection to Jack O'Lantern's powers.
