Gamora is kind of basic and I feel she should be alotmore badass.

Pre-MCU, Mantis.

Post-MCU, Rocket and Groot are the most tolerable, mostly because they're actually supposed to be the comic relief, not the entire team.

It's kinda disheartening that although it's not specified in the title, most people likely assumed the thread is talking about the MCU versions going in. I can't really blame them since there's now a whole new generation of comic readers growing up with these versions as the only ones they know.

I’m not sure about a particular favorite, but I like Quill, Rocket, and Drax the most.

Quill. He is such fantastic character. Rocket comes right afterwards.

@richubs: My statement is more of a reference to another thread on this forum which asked if people were aware of certain Guardians characters before the MCU and there were several saying that they hadn't heard of 'em 'til they hit the big screen.
