Developing Angular 5 against masterWeb in IIS

I have a big .net Web application solution built with Visual Studio 2017 pro. One of it's projects is wwwroot with the "MasterWeb" - lots of web pages and functions.
Now I need to build a new small part as an SPA using Angular 5. I am new to Angular but I got a small Angular 5 project running in VisualStudio as a single project/solution. The development process against IIS Express works fine. Code changes are automatically updated to IIS express instance with a page reaload.
I've built production files using:
- ng build -prod --base-hrefs="/MasterWeb/mobile" --deploy-url "/MasterWeb/mobile/"
In IIS manager I created a virtual directory "Mobile" in the application "MasterWeb" and pointed out my dist-directory with previuos built files.
This SPA runs fine using url "/localhost/MasterWeb/mobile/index.html".
Now for my problem.
Since I need to add call web services in the MasterWeb I would like my code changes in "mobile" be directly updated to MasterWeb without have to "build to prod" each time.
Perhaps am I tarageting this the wrong way but I would like to have MasterWeb and Mobile as to separate VS solutions but targeting the same Web application instance.
Development changes in both MasterWe VS solution and Mobile VS solution should automatically reflected when running these pages.
Suggestions on how to accomplish this?
