She used her alchemy to essentially destroy a large building in the anime, so I don't know if you would consider that "fair".

@theonewhoknocks: After seeing the gate of truth, but I just didn’t want her being on deaths door by EoS to be a factor.

She has all feats from manga/brotherhood, she just won’t be coughing up blood in the middle of a combo.

I’ll post some feats for TG team tomorrow if Valor doesn’t do so beforehand.

@KingCrimson: Great, thanks for the clarification. I'll tentatively side with the girls for now. Izumi being MVP because she can manipulate the battlefield to her teams advantage and is no slouch in CQ combat either. Feats for the TG team would be great. The only thing I know about TG ghouls is they have superhuman strength and a bit of a healing factor.

Yeah, you’re on the right track. Ghouls are superhuman all round and Kurona’s healing factor is pretty solid. She’ll be by far the toughest opponent to put down for the male team.

@theonewhoknocks:

TG Girls

So, some feats for the Tokyo Ghoul crowd:

Ching Li Hsiao...

or Ginny for short, is the weaker of the two TG girls. She was originally a half-human who was raised in the Sunlit Garden. Half-humans have increased physical abilities at the cost of shorter life spans, and the Sunlit Garden was a place where they raised these superhuman kids as child soldiers of sorts. They were trained in combat from a young age, and often went on to become investigators for the CCG. It was there Ginny underwent the Quinx surgery to give her a kagune and a mild healing factor.

She's tough, quick, agile and skilled, and prefers a H2H combat style even in the weapons she uses:

Gallery image 1Gallery image 2Gallery image 3
  • 1: Her healing factor allows her to take some pretty solid hits and keep breathing.

  • 2-3: She uses her quinque, skill and speed to get repeated hits in on Amon, an FTE ghoul who could keep pace with bullet timers even as a human.

Gallery image 1Gallery image 2Gallery image 3Gallery image 4
  • 1: Her kagune covers her torso and legs in an armour tougher than steel that also doubles as a weapon

  • 3-4: Her strength also allows her to pack quite a punch in her hits.

Kurona Yasuhisa...

is definitely the more impressive of the two. Formerly a human cadet at the CCG academy, she was experimented on by the scientist Kanou and turned into an artificial half ghoul - essentially a flawed clone of Kaneki - which gave her superhuman physicals across the board.

After she starts cannibalising, she gains incredible regeneration, speed an even deadlier kagune:

Gallery image 1Gallery image 2Gallery image 3Gallery image 4Gallery image 5
  • 1-3: Kurona moved FTE several times to Abara during their fight, when she quite honestly embarrassed him with minimal effort. Scan 2 also shows one of her strikes sending him hurtling back around a dozen metres despite him blocking it.
(Outfighting Abara himself is nothing to scoff at skill wise, either. Whilst not as skilled as Daredevil or Slade, he's still pretty handy with a sword).

  • 4: Kurona dodges a blindside blitz attempt from Suzuya...

  • 5: Who is fast enough to cut a tree into several pieces before they separate, almost as if done in one swing.

Gallery image 1Gallery image 2Gallery image 3Gallery image 4

Her regenerative capabilities are very high level for a street tier character, allowing her to immediately heal from being bisected or having her neck snapped.

All in all, a tough pair.

Yeah I'm definitely backing the girls. Kurone can pressure any member of the comic book characters team quite a lot and Ginny seems plenty capable of tanking hits. Olivier Armstrong really isn't much help but the range, versatility and raw power Izumi is packing due to her alchemy leaves the comic characters with little chance imo.

@theonewhoknocks:

She used her alchemy to essentially destroy a large building in the anime, so I don't know if you would consider that "fair".

@KingCrimson: By healthy Izumi, do you mean before seeing the gate of Truth? In other words, does she need a transmutation circle to use her alchemy?

@theonewhoknocks: No problem man.

Yeah, you’re on the right track. Ghouls are superhuman all round and Kurona’s healing factor is pretty solid. She’ll be by far the toughest opponent to put down for the male team.

@theonewhoknocks:
