Alright, so after checking the Battle Contest Winners thread I realized that the Fantastic Four haven't been used in a while. I think the X-Men are always a great category because of the large cast of characters.
So for this thread why not make it ANY member from the Fantastic Four (Or Future Foundation) VS any X-Men character.
Deadline: Feb 22th, 2018

I have a pretty good idea for an entry (I think), but I won't have time to work on it for a couple days yet. If you could maybe make a small extension, I could submit a piece. If not, I totally understand.

An extension would be good for me as well. But I respect that Maniac's daughter got her submission in on time like a true professional. I can always post my drawing after the contest closes.

No need to include this one in the voting as it's really just a draft sketch.
My plan was to have the Invisible Woman (Sue Storm, FF) and the White Queen (Emma Frost, X-Men) have a go at it. I don't know that these two have ever met, but I imagined them both instantly disliking each other due primarily to public perception of their personas. Emma winds up on the losing end, in part because she doesn't realize that Sue has a Malice-streak to her that can be unapologetically vicious, and in part because Sue has built up a bit of resistance to telepaths being the mother of one of the omniverse's most powerful minds. Emma has other abilities to be sure, but I think Marvel's First Lady takes her out in the end, giving Emma a black eye for her troubles.
One of these days I'll finish the piece, but right now professional chores call.

Thanks! I've never really had the patience (with myself or the process) to do anything of importance. Nevertheless, art is just darn good therapy for me. I almost feel bad for subjecting others to my "creative decompression" and the horrible job of learning Corel Painter Lite on the fly. Ha ha

Hey, you're doing a great job! Trust those paternal instincts. When they're grown, your girls will appreciate you all the more for nurturing their God-given talent.
And trust me when I say that once you have "the gift," you always have it. Now ... you may not always have the time or the patience for it (I'm guilty of that), but it's there. Like an old friend, just waiting for you to stop by and say hello. Give it a shot. You might surprise yourself.

@dragonspine: I'm trying to keep my kids interested in drawing since I never kept up and they are actually good at it.

@egod@shatterstar - Please pin this thread. Thanks!
