Great work by everyone, but the nod goes to Viceandverse on this one. That looks like a character that would get under your skin and annoy you to no end.

The way it goes is, when you win one of the themed contests, you host the next one. The theme stays the same (character redesign). Each contest picks a character we'd like to see given an updated or new costume. You're free to pick any character from any company of your choosing, but the bigger more well known characters typically see the best results and turnout. That's up to you of course. If you wanna go obscure that's your choice. Sometimes folks will pick a team like the X-men and ask entrants to choose an X-man (or woman) and design their look or make a new team costume. We used to have an archive, though I haven't seen it in a while. Perhaps @egod (our mod) could help with that?

To create the next contest just start a new thread, pick your character, be sure to add the number and name of the contest in the title, and be sure to give a deadline (usually one month). Hosts typically provide a few sample images of their character in iconic poses (the thread creator is very simple to use). But it's up to you if you want to do that or not.

While I appreciate the idea of a big 12 person battle, this is a small community and we try to keep the contests a bit on the smaller side since most of us have kids, jobs, and other responsibilities, and these are just side things we do for for fun. There's rarely a prize even, unless a contest host decides to throw something in out of his or her own pocket like this time. (speaking of which, hit me up in a private message and let me know where to send your prize!).

The general winners thread is still pinned on the main page which has all the contests and links provided, I do need to update it though, which I plan on doing tomorrow on my day off.

A big fight isn't a bad idea, but I think you're limited to hosting a new contest/challenge on a character or costume redesign in this category. That said, if you enter and win Artist Show-off #163 that is currently ongoing you may have a little more freedom to explore different themes. Either way, I'm looking forward to the next contest. I don't have to travel for the rest of this month, so it's time to dust off my pen and pad!
