After going through the "Character Creation Contest" Winners Forum I noticed that there were some fun Create a Villain contest.

• Creation 105 - Superman Villain

In the same spirit as these past contests I figured why not continue it with The Flash.

For this contest create a new foe/antagonist for the any Flash character.

Now creating a villain for a Super Speedster might be a bit challenging, but don't overthink it. Simple is better. Some ideas for inspiration.

• Animal Based Character


• Character empowered by Energy or Lightning


• Monster


• Speedster

Let's go with this. Ladies and Gents, this is Ameri'Geddion the Unending One. He is an Old God, a precursor to the likes of Darkseid, Highfather Izaya, Metron, and all the rest. He was not the most powerful god, but he was unparalleled in battle. It was he whom all the other gods followed, although he was never their king. Half human and half dragon, he was the might of the heavens and all who saw him knew awe and dread.

The inspiration:

I've loved Jack Kirby's New Gods when I was younger. I often wondered who all of the Old Gods were and what they must have been like.

Separately, I also wondered what a DC analog of Marvel's Avengers would be like, if DC ever really put forward a serious effort to create them.

And then it occurred to me that it would be a nice twist if the Old Gods were DC's homage to the Avengers.

Thus was born Ameri'Geddion. He is Captain America as an Old God. His name is a play on "America" and "Armeggedon." Why not, since we have an Apokolips? I may update this piece later to include a shield for him. His dragon hide makes him impervious anyway, but the accoutrement is only fitting.
