I keep seeing Comicvine giving this franchise tons of spotlight, and it's got me wondering... Who, exactly, is the target demographic of this insanely outdated concept? The characters and the story seem completely pointless. Who the heck is reading this nonsense?

Issue Three?! Didn't the first issue come out last June? Three issues in 1 year. Damn. That's even worse than I expected (and I wasn't expecting much, as far as publishing frequency goes).

The Archie people do realize there's a reason why Hughes hasn't actually drawn interiors on an ongoing comic in about 25 years, right?

Its obvious the reason why this gets so much attention is because of the show on CW.

Plus, the SJW types can rally behind, showing how these two are more than just competing for some "lowly man" , they can be friends etc. Because why does Archie get to chose one of them? Why couldnt a modern 2017 Betty & Veronica chose which of them gets Archie?

Or, they can chose each other.

Or you can say its another male power fantasy, choisng two hot girls, but like Star Wars, Star Trek, Lara Croft, the concept has been taken over by the "Fem-Nazis"
