Can’t tell if your being sarcastic or not but leaning towards you are this thread actually hasn’t been done before. Rewatchability is Far diffrent in how fun or Great a movie is. This is more how many times can you watch it and still enjoy it. There are Fantastic movies that I didn’t feel like watching a bunch after the first few or even the first viewing

Infinity Wars has so much action and interactions between characters from different franchises. Those two add more to rewatchability value than pros of The Dark Knight.

I have rewatched IW and it’s definitely TDK. For all its spectacle, storywise there’s little going on. One action scene chains to the next with barely a breath in between. Don’t get me wrong, I liked it for what it was, but compared to The Dark Knight or many of the other MCU movies, it falls short on my rewatchability index. It’s great as the culmination of 18 prior films, though so, I guess if you had the time and desire to watch all 18 prior entries in the franchise, watching IW again would seem reasonable. Or, if you need a refresher before A4, then it would make sense, or even if you just wanted something playing in the room as background noise that, too would be a good reason to pop in Infinity War. It requires very little focus to follow along once you know all the principle characters, however if you are looking for a film that draws you in deeper there are far better choices including The Dark Knight.

Honestly the amount of characters and stuff actually happening in Infinity War almost requires you to watch it a few times, just to fully take in the sheer awesomeness of the movie. After that, I would imagine you could watch it several times and still enjoy it. So for me it would be Infinity War.

True. There are great movies I can't rewatch. I loved Super 8 the first time I saw it, but I've tried on three separate occasions to rewatch it and just can't. Sometimes great movies have no rewatchability.
And it goes the other way too. There are lots of just-okay movies that I can see multiple times and not get bored of. Taken isn't that great of a movie, but I've seen it at least four or five times and still find it rewatchable.

The new releases always have better rewatchability until the hype for them significantly dies after a few years and Christian Bale has the last laugh with his throat cancer voice.

Although TDK has some issues (pacing felt boring sometimes), its the superior film due to a number of reasons but the best IMO is due to the film being a great character study for both Batman AND Joker. Lets also not forget Heath Ledger R.I.P.

I've rewatched the TDK many times and still enjoyed it. I watched IW for the second time and wasn't sure I wasn't going to make it through it at first. It was reasonably enjoyable the second time through but I have no urge to watch it a third time.

Can go either way. Infinity War being more eventful while TDK being more suspenseful. Infinity War has those boring gaps between the action, while TDK lacks the action to keep adrenalin up. Tie.

This is totally subjective. To be fair, TDK is the better movie overall but IW was more fun to rewatch.
I'm gonna say that some masterpieces are hard to rewatch and that's saying a lot because we already know The Godfather is better than Back To The Future but BTTF is more rewatchable because great comedy movies were always more entertaining and rewatchable than great slow paced films.

Infinity War is a true blast but spectacle can only take you so far.
Although TDK has some issues (pacing felt boring sometimes), its the superior film due to a number of reasons but the best IMO is due to the film being a great character study for both Batman AND Joker. Lets also not forget Heath Ledger R.I.P.

The new releases always have better rewatchability until the hype for them significantly dies after a few years and Christian Bale has the last laugh with his throat cancer voice.

Infinity Wars has so much action and interactions between characters from different franchises. Those two add more to rewatchability value than pros of The Dark Knight.

I can't say, since I haven't rewatched Avengers: Infinity War. I've seen The Dark Knight at least five times, but I've only seen Avengers: Infinity War once, so I'll abstain from voting.

I can't say, since I haven't rewatched Avengers: Infinity War. I've seen The Dark Knight at least five times, but I've only seen Avengers: Infinity War once, so I'll abstain from voting.

The new releases always have better rewatchability until the hype for them significantly dies after a few years and Christian Bale has the last laugh with his throat cancer voice.

People do know that rewatchability is different from whether or not one film is better than the other right?

people here don't understand the difference between better film and better rewatchability, I think it's too early to be able to decide that IMO lets see if in a few more year i can watch IW as much as now
