For me, it'd probably have to be either the Kou Empire Arc (Magi - The Labyrinth of Magic) or the Shogun Assassination Arc (Gintama).

@valorknight: ok, I think my fav arcs are: Shikamaru's Revenge, Soul Society arc, L arc, Shogun Assassination, Frieza arc, Marineford arc, Chimera Ant, Pain arc, Chunin Exams, The Promised Day arc, the Final Battle arc in Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood & too many more I can't remember, I guess xD

Those are all pretty great, especially Shogun Assassination, Marineford, and the final arc of Brotherhood.

You're missing out, then. I mean, the Chunin Exams were good and all, but Naruto isn't really known for it's fantastic storytelling.

@valorknight: The story was great to me. I watch AOT but sometimes they go entire episodes just talking like bruh. Go do something, fight a fish go buy some clothes just stop talking so damn much

@valorknight: And story telling is only really half the reason why the chunnin exams was such a good arc. Great fights. Great character progression, interesting characters and creativity.

The Golden Age Arc from Berserk, hands down. Such a masterpiece. Another really good arc is Dawn of the Golden Witch from Umineko, though I much prefer Twilight of the Golden Witch. Other good arc from more popular series:

• Soul Society Arc from Bleach (and parts of Arracar Arc)


• Water 7/Enies Lobby and the Marineford War sagas from One Piece


• Yorknew City and Chimera Ant Arcs form HxH


• The Overhaul Arc from My Hero Academia (I don't know the official name of the arc lol)

The dialogue is part of what makes AoT good in my opinion.

Literally all of the things you just mentioned are a part of "storytelling".
