Poll: What's the best season of Arrow? (27 votes)
Season 1 19%
Season 2 67%
Season 3 0%
Season 4 0%
Season 5 7%
Season 6 7%
I know there's a thread similar to this but here I'm also asking a specific question...
So I just recently got into Arrow.... my friend was telling me about it because he's a big fan of Stephen Amell since he does his own stunts and everything. I'm in the middle of the 1st season so far and it's okay... it's had a few moments but tbh it's also been a tad bit boring at certain parts as well xc
So my question was... does the show always stay about this good or does it get better? Should I stick through and catch up for season 7 coming out??? Let me know your thoughts.... and also... what is considered to be the BEST season of Arrow??

This. Season 4 is at times painful to watch, but season 5 and the latter half of season 6 make it totally worth it.

Season 5. I like Prometheus more than Slade. Manu Bennet was awesome but I felt they made Slade overpowered and too insane. I would have preferred Slade to be only slightly enhanced. Personally I think Josh Segarra is just as good as Manu Bennet, and I think Stephen Amell is at his best in scenes involving Josh. Prometheus I felt was a huge threat because of his mind and conviction which I find more compelling than Slade being a threat because of Mirakuru. I also think its interesting how Prometheus projects himself onto Oliver and makes Oliver believe he is a monster.
All though season 2 is still quite good. I just had issues with there deathstroke portrayal. Granted you have to acknowledge that CW Prometheus is a totally different character from his comic counterpart, and has almost nothing in common with his comic counterpart. But if you can move past that Prometheus is straight awesome.

As far as the first season goes, people tend to think it gets better as it goes on. Finish the season, see if it gets more enjoyable, and be aware that S2 is the best in the series when you decide whether or not to continue after.

Season 1 and 5 are about equal to me, 5 is probably a bit better. Season 2 is also amazing. But I voted for Season 1 rather than 5 due to the island story being far better than any other season imo.

@the_magister: S4 is like the only Arrow season that tries to have fun and isn't afraid to acknowledge that it's a comic book show. Something Legends has been embracing since S2 and why it's the best show on the CW.

Season 2 is the best season. I personally didn't like Slade's motivation for being the villain but otherwise this was the best season. Good action, good story, good character moments. Not much to really hate here. 9.1/10
Season 1 is almost as good IMO. I liked the flashback story better in this season (guess I just like Slade as Oliver's friend here instead of the Mirakuru making him salty that he wasn't able to with Shado). There's relationship drama (it's a CW show) but there's more than enough elements that make it bearable or at least doesn't ruin the season. 8.8/10.
Season 5 is solid. I'm not as high on it as a lot of other people but it's still a really good season. IMO the Season 5 flaskback story is the best one in the series. 8.2/10
Season 3 is a mixed bag. I liked it the first time around but disliked it a lot more when I rewatched it. It has good elements (fight scenes, story) and bad elements (relationship drama). I just rewatched it 2 weeks ago and found that it's a lot better if you skip past the Oliver and Felicity relationship drama moments. The flashback story is meh but harmless outside of a few scenes. Overall I think it's okay but again skip past the relationship drama if you aren't into that stuff. It's not worth the time and doesn't drive the plot anywhere outside of a few stupid moments. 6.5 overall; 7.8 w/o Olicity drama.
Season 4 is the worst due to needless/nonsensical drama from Felicity, hyprocrisy from Felicity, an overpowered villain who easily could've killed Team Arrow in 2 seconds if he wanted but didn't for some reason, and terrible fight choreography. Nonsensical flashback that somehow ties into the plot of the main story because apparently everything Oliver faced in the 5 years when he was missing is something the villain of the season is using to destroy Starling (oops I mean Star) City. Which begs the question of why doesn't Oliver tell his team everything that happened to him on the island instead of witholding secrets until it's too late. The best thing in the season is Neil McDonough's performance as Damian Darhk since he seems to be the only person having fun with his role. Watch at your own risk. 2.9/10
While I'm in the minority, I personally hated Season 6 for similar reasons (forced drama, hypocrisy from salty Team Arrow members) and new reasons (didn't care for the villain, didn't like how his plans were always convoluted but foolproof etc.). 4.0/10

1.Season 2 [Fantastic villain, great action, best story and acting] [7/10]
2.Season 1 [A very compelling, well told origin story with a fantastic story, great acting and amazing action. Good villain too] [7/10]
3.Season 6 [Best action the how has ever had, perfect villain and amazing last seven episodes. However this season was way to melodramatic with plenty of bad episodes and the fourth worst villain in Arrow's history] [6/10]
4.Season 5 [Enjoyable to watch but a very overrated villain who's got nothing on the best villains in comic book tv and a plot that's nothing but a pale imitation of season's 1 and 2] [6/10]
5.Season 3 [A mixed bag, first half was great, second half sucked] [5/10]
6.Season 4 [Terrible action, story, overly-melodramatic, tons of terrible episodes, lame villain. It sucked] [3/10]

I liked Season 2 more then season 1. Season 4 was pretty meh, but Neil McDonough is a great actor, and we got Constantine in the verse. But Season 4 was a drag overall imo. Season 5 made me drop it since it was boring. Might pick it back up at some point

I liked Season 2 more then season 1. Season 4 was pretty meh, but Neil McDonough is a great actor, and we got Constantine in the verse. But Season 4 was a drag overall imo. Season 5 made me drop it since it was boring. Might pick it back up at some point

I liked Season 2 more then season 1. Season 4 was pretty meh, but Neil McDonough is a great actor, and we got Constantine in the verse. But Season 4 was a drag overall imo. Season 5 made me drop it since it was boring. Might pick it back up at some point
