Yes. DOOM 2016 was a blast and I look forward to Eternal just like I look forward to Rage 2.

Never played it due to negative opinions from my friends.

Saying that I am simply excited is an understatement. Doom 2016 is the only good shooter in the whole decade, seriously, I have not seen a real great FPS since like 2005.

Doom 2016 was almost perfect, and it is looking like Doom Eternal is gonna get even better.

I already love the sequel, Arch-viles, Arachnotrons, pain-in-the-ass Elementals are returning. Hooray!

The new costume of Doomguy is not the Praetor one, it looks more like the classic one, or even like the one in Quake Champions.

The whole setting of the Eath under the attacks of Hell is so interesting, hope we learn something about the general setting.

New weapons and abilities were said to appear, so it would be cool to see the Unmaker.

Doomguy will also become faster and stronger, which is great, considering some fans though the game was a little slow.

And twice the types of demons is gonna be fun, great enemy variety is what makes the fights interesting and unique.

Yes, I'm excited for it than the other titles they announced(I want to see more of Elder Scrolls VI before getting excited).

I am definitely excited for that and Fallout 76, I will check out Rage 2 as well.

@apocofist: Different game with a different feeling. Rage has more exploring and is very heavily vehicle focused, however, it is a lot of fun and I highly recommend it. As for a close... 'analogy'.. Honestly, I'd say it has more to do with the Mad Max game [but with more run and gun] then Doom.
