Align PowerPoint shapes evenly using OpenXML SDK

I am trying to find a way to distribute consecutive shapes evenly within a PowerPoint slide in a PPTX file using OpenXML SDK.

I found it is possible using VBA via

ShapeRange.Distribute

but i'm not able to find a similar way using OpenXML SDK.

I know it is possible to manually calculate and set the coordinates using

shape.ShapeProperties.Transform2D.Offset

but i hope there is some better way to achieve this...

Thanks
