How to initiate a websocket connection when the “client” is behind a firewall
So i have a requirement as follows.
I am looking to view a web page sitting inside one network(eg. network A) from a machine that is on a different network(network B).
My machine has a public hostname and is accessible to network B but not the other way around.
I was thinking of using the websocket solution for this. But there is some customization required here which I am unsure about.
My machine cannot be the classic client because there is no public hostname for the device in network A that i am trying to view.
I want a way to have the "server" in network B initiate the connection.
I can have my piece in network A initiate a connection at install with the known host in network B.
But after the connection is established i need to send requests from the machine in network B to the ip in network A.
Can someone point me to some ideas/links to read about similar implementations.
