Sasuke breaks Lee’s bones before he gets the chance to remove his weights.

Sasuke with the curse Mark was supposed to be some next level shit during that time. I highly doubt Lee would stand a chance without Gates.

With his weights he gets stomped. He lost to that sound team, while sasuke destroyed them. Even without the gates I don’t think he can beat Sasuke.

Lee loses without gates, with gates opened he probably wins

Lee with weights: Sasuke low diff, Lee was having trouble with the Sound trio while Sasuke scared one of them off and even stomped one, Sakura being in the way isn't even an excuse here seeing how Sasuke got Naruto and Sakura out of harms way without any trouble

Lee without weights: Lee low diff or in a potential stomp, Sasuke needed an unweighted Lee's speed to use Chidori and this is the same Sasuke who's been training for months so his base should be stronger than his Cm1 forest of death arc.

Bonus- 3-5 gates: Lee stomps BRUTALLY. Sasuke needs to be in his Cm2 state and even thats not enough its needs to be Sasuke retrieval arc Sasuke. I can see why Gates was restricted.
