How to reuse form elements correctly in angular 5?
.everyoneloves__top-leaderboard:empty,.everyoneloves__mid-leaderboard:empty,.everyoneloves__bot-mid-leaderboard:empty height:90px;width:728px;box-sizing:border-box;
I have component with a form and this form has child component which include
all the input tags, validation messages etc.
The main template of the form:
<form (ngSubmit)="saveTrip(tripDirective)" #tripDirective="ngForm" novalidate>
<div class="form_box">
<div class="my_form">
<section class="npc_box active">
<trip1 *ngIf="tripObj" [trip]="tripObj?.trip"></trip1>
</section>
</div>
<div class="np_box">
<button class="next_step">Continue<i></i></button>
</div>
</div>
</form>
As you can see above the trip1 is the child element. Now I have submit
code in the main component (parent component):
saveTrip(tripDirective:FormGroupDirective)
console.log(tripDirective.value)
I'm getting empty list in the console.
The reason I'm using child element for the inputs is that I have trip1 and
trip2.
On one page the trip1 and trip2 are belong to 1 form in one long page.
And on the other page/s there is 1 form foreach meaning two separate pages.
Is there better and elegant solution for this or I should copy and paste the input item to all pages (duplicate code).
thanks!
