Battle takes place in an area designed for both animals to not be inhibited from environmental factors. Fight is on land.

The croc isn't doing anything to them on land, it also doesn't help that it has low stamina whereas wolves have god-tier stamina so they just tire it out.

If 5 beavers can kill an alligator I think 8 wolves can kill a huge croc with maybe some losses.

Can the wolves even bite through the Crocs hide?

If we're thinking of the same video, it was a family of otters that killed a caiman.

@socajunkie: Ye that one, I know it's very different but I'd bet on 8 grown wolves all day anyway. Way too coordinated for a single croc.

Especially on land, the croc gets exhausted pretty quickly.

If the fight is on land the wolves win through attrition. They're smart enough to avoid it's jaws and will just nip it's hide until it's exhausted and can't defend itself.

The croc's armored body I think isn't being taken enough into consideration. Even lions have trouble getting through that thick hide.
