Kiba's only advantage is raw strenght. Skill, intelligence, surprise factor and few others are going to Kankuro.

I'd go with him for 6-7/10 majority simply because destructive potential alone isn't that important in my book, especially when we take into account that fang over fang was dodged and intercepted before.

Kankuro wins due to multiple puppet spam. Also, he has Sasori as his puppet now so shouldn't he be able to use Iron Sand?

I would really love to say Kiba, but I just see Kankuro taking it with relative ease. He's gotten a lot more development than Kiba I'd argue, and got more puppets and arguably more jutsu. Kankuro I would say could've taken Kiba during part 1 when the sound four were around just by Kankuro's killing Sakon/ukon pretty handily. I'd argue part 2 Kankuro only got better since then.

Kiba could potentially steamroll Kankuro with his Wolf Transformations, but he doesn't start with those IC. On the other hand, Kankuro only needs a scratch for his poison to take Kiba down. He'd take a majority, though this is actually a pretty even fight.

Kankuro impressed sasori at the beginning of shipputen, while Kiba have done nothing impressive all series other than killing some juubi clones that the rest of alliance can also do.

Kiba simply lacks the speed and durability to get past and tanks blows from the puppets.

Assuming anime feats as well, Kankuro can take him out if he plays stealthy otherwise shippuden Fang over Fang is close to mountain level even before three headed wolf.

Kiba is good at tracking with scent, but puppets do not give off any scent, neither do Chakra threads. Someone like Neji, Sasuke or anyone with Sage mode would be able to see or sense the Chakra, but Kiba is basically blind to this.

Kankuro wins comfortably with the sasori puppet. The 1 hit poison and fire that can melt rocks is too powerful.

But Kiba would beat Pre-War Arc Kankuro
