Round 1 could go either way. Final Exam Naruto defeated Neji, someone that Lee always failed to defeat (without using Gates Release).

I guess it could go either way. If Naruto gathers some Kurama chakra, hugely increasing his speed and strenght, just like during Neji's fight, before Lee can open the Gates...Naruto wins.

Number advantage and some cool strategy are on his side.

Round 2... i guess KN0 savage Naruto...he should take this easily. Speed, strenght/attack potency, regeneration and durability hugely amped.

Round 1:

Lee with or without weights stomps base Naruto who likely won't use Kurama chakra in character unless his chakra is fully blocked or in a life or death scenario. If Naruto uses KN0 chakra, then Lee wins with the upper Gates and removed weights.

Round 2:

Fifth Gate Lee without weights stomps base Naruto before he can summon Gambunta and wins against KN0 Naruto.

Round1- most likely either way, seeing as how Naruto using kurama's chakra as his own was able to beat and out speed neji, someone who always beat lee with or without weights, and has a regeneration factor now too. Or spams a thousand clones. But possibly stops at 4-5th gate lee.

Round 2- Naruto summons thousands of clones which no sold gaara who was molesting sasuke who had weightless lee speed and sharingan. Summons gambunta and roasts him or sits on him. And finally could just use version one, one tailed state which even sasuke couldn't keep up with, and sasuke at that point had weightless lee speed, three tomoe fully awakened sharingan and a slight boost from curse mark. And yes, Naruto can use that form in this match even tho it's Chunin exam Naruto, cuz even though he didn't physically show it until the valley of the end, he had the power to do so, it was purely kurama boost which he could have done at any point if he was in the right situation. Plus he didn't get any stronger in between his Chunin exams and when he was chasing sasuke, he was at the same power, he jus pulled out a different form cuz of the anger he had during situation he was in.

Naruto could have just easily squashed Neji with Bunta or any other toad summons, the only reason he didn't was because plot.

R1 could go either way, base Naruto should be around equal to base lee. The question is will Lee open gates first or will Naruto summon a 1000 clones or Bunta to literally stomp lee.

R2 Naruto murder stomps. Bloodlusted intent to kill Naruto is far above his peers.

R1: I'll go for Lee. I think base stats wise Lee might actually have an advantage over Naruto purely because his taijutsu level alone is on a genius level while Naruto's advantage at that point in time was just his chakra levels and an assortment of creative usage of jutsus. (Assuming Naruto doesnt crush Lee under a giant toad)

R2: Naruto. No doubt. His bloodlust coupled would have pulled out the Nine tails chakra along with Kurama's malicious intents and hate, would have made him a deadly opponent to face for anyone that age.

this is the wildest most unsubstantiated claim i've ever seen regarding chunin exams level naruto lol.

neji is around the same speed and skill as base lee unweighted and neji easily delt with naruto only losing because of some plot stupidity and being caught in his own emotions

i don't think either lee or neji would give naruto time to summon that toad, that toad was contending with 1 tails lmfao the toad is PIS in of itself, i'm also pretty sure summons are banned in the exams iirc

i mean he speedblitzed sasuke and naruto before the exams with weights on, and everyone was making remarks about his speed with his weights on, i don't think naruto has any notable speed feats that make him = to base lee weighted

Lee wins both rounds if he unlocks gates and removes weights. I don't see Naruto surviving that treatment Gaara got.

Narutos greatest strength is his ability to keep on going. Well, Lee has it too.

Even with a small detachment of clones Naruto was able to close the distance and get to vital weak points within Gaara's armor. He then just spawned even more clones and pounded him...

Lee wins round 1 and round 2 because KN0 Naruto isn't as good as the 4th or 5th gate Lee in my opinion, he wasn't on that level until KN1. How well Naruto or Sasuke did against Gaara is irrelevant because as was already stated, Gaara won through plot after getting completely destroyed by Lee.

I think the Naruto/Gaara fight has more circumstances than people are acting like
