The Arrowverse is good.

However, it's missed a lot of opportunities. The biggest of which, in my opinion, was to make Flashpoint in Season 3 of The Flash a legitimately interesting story. Here is what my idea would have been.

First, we start with Flash killing Eobard. Not just stopping him, but killing him. This alters the timeline in many ways.

First of all, Wally West is The Flash, just like it already was. However, Supergirl has also taken over half the earth, as altering the timeline has allowed her to exist on Earth-1, where she was captured by the government and raised to be a soldier, but later escaped and declared war on humanity, recruiting an army of meta-humans consisting of Firestorm, Black Canary, Killer Frost and many others.

Meanwhile, Green Arrow leads the Resistance, consisting of Citizen Cold, Martian Manhunter, Slade Wilson, Sara Lance, Vibe and others.

Barry teams with the Resistance, but it's too late, as Supergirl unleashes the "ATOM Bomb" created by Ray Palmer, on the earth. Before the earth is destroyed, Barry runs back in time and convinces himself to not kill Thawne.

The end results are more than just a little complicated. Sure, the timeline is restored, but it's been merged with Earth-38 where Supergirl and Superman exists. In addition to this, Barry is part of a team called the Justice League, which is led by Green Arrow and consists of himself along with Superman, Supergirl, Martian Manhunter and Black Canary, who has been restored to life.

This is great for a two-three episode arc. Won't work season long. And it's certainly not feasible to have Stephen and Melissa appear on their show as well as The Flash for so many episodes.

I agree that its not feasible. I think the idea of a resistance story would be cool. I think you would have to make some changes for this to be possible, and I would also change the part where Barry kills Thawyne personally.

My ideal flashpoint in a perfect world would be Barry stops Thawyne from killing his mother, so Thawyne goes back in time and helps the Nazis win WW2 and creates Earth X. Than we could have Super girl and Oliver wearing those earth X masks so you wouldn't need Stephen or Melissa every episode.
