Both have produced some of the best and worst films in the history of cinema.
I'd still go for Universal, more memorable and culture-defining movies.

I generally prefer Universal. Obviously they've had their fair share of duds (looking at you, The Mummy 2017) but they've also had a lot of really enjoyable movies, like the Jurassic Park/Jurassic World movies.

Both studios produced some of the best and some of the worst movies.
Here are some best Universal films:
Back To The Future trilogy
Jurassic Park
An American Werewolf in London
Kick-Ass
Here are some best Paramount films:
The Godfather I and II
Mission Impossible series
Forrest Gump
Saving Private Ryan
In that case, I can't really choose between these two studios even if this is a Disney vs Warner Bros thread

@ghostodoofus: You made a right choice.
The Mummy is one of only a handful of movies I've ever regretted seeing in the theater, or paying to see period. It came out on a weekend where I was just really desperate to go out, and thought it would be at least worth the ticket price. It wasn't.

@mrmonster: I've not bothered with The Mummy 2017 knowing it's just another Tom Cruise action flick and does no justice to the classic horror genre.

It wasn't.

It wasn't.

Going with Paramount because of the Marx Brothers movies, the Alfred Hitchcock filmography, Audrey Hepburn and Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Both have produced some of the best and worst films in the history of cinema.
I'd still go for Universal, more memorable and culture-defining movies.

Both studios produced some of the best and some of the worst movies.
Here are some best Universal films:
Back To The Future trilogy
Jurassic Park
An American Werewolf in London
Kick-Ass
Here are some best Paramount films:
The Godfather I and II
Mission Impossible series
Forrest Gump
Saving Private Ryan
In that case, I can't really choose between these two studios even if this is a Disney vs Warner Bros thread

@loyngulpany: Yeah and I want the reboot, Dark Universe, to succeed but the likelihood of that happening looks very low right now.

@ghostodoofus: You made a right choice.
The Mummy is one of only a handful of movies I've ever regretted seeing in the theater, or paying to see period. It came out on a weekend where I was just really desperate to go out, and thought it would be at least worth the ticket price. It wasn't.

@mrmonster: I saw the Nostalgia Critic review of the film so I really don't need to see the film itself to know it's crap lol

Going with Paramount because of the Marx Brothers movies, the Alfred Hitchcock filmography, Audrey Hepburn and Raiders of the Lost Ark.
