Round 5: Orion and Kalibak (Composite) vs Thor and Loki (All feats, no external amps)

Round 6: Enraged Orion vs Warriors Madness Thor

No morals. Fight to win.

Why hasn't this happened in the comics???? It would have been better than half of the crossovers they've done so far

crossovers are just for publicity .. where only popular characters are shown (and in most battle.. popularity wins over logic) ... so i doubt they'd use orion that much.

I've been asking this question since the Reagan Administration. Seeing Thorion as a part of the Amalgam Universe saga in the late '90s certainly didn't calm my rabid desire to see such a crossover event happen.

Ah well, at this point we'd have to use New 52 Orion and a cyborg, axe-wieldingThor. Meh.

Give me a Grant Morrison JLA-era Orion and a fully worthy Thor out of continuity tale and DC/Marvel can charge me whatever they want!!!

Oh yeah. While I'd have to agree (especially for a guy with my Username [lol]) that Iron Lantern WAYYY underperformed, I have to give Keith Giffen his well deserved props for perfectly combining the mythos' of Marvel's version of Asgard and the Fourth World. It was masterful in every way, and in fact it was John Romita Jr.'s performance on this very book which got him the job as penciller on Thor's actual reintroduction to the Marvel Universe book Post-"Heroes Return".

If your local comic book store has a back issue (or if they can perhaps order you a copy) get it while you still can. You won't regret it.

Which is way more than I can ever say for Iron Lantern (groan)...
