Docusign API - C# - Removing RecipientTabs Tied to Non-Existent Documents
In our implementation of the DocuSign API, we set up templates with all the documents that could possibly need to be signed, and then we allow for users to exempt any number of these documents in our system so they're marked as Signed/Completed and don't need to be included in the envelope that the user can send out to their client for signing. Then we simply grab the template, replace the template documents with the filtered set of documents that are remaining, and create and send the envelope.
This works fine as long as every document from the template is being sent, but if any documents are filtered out we're having issues because there are multiple Tab objects tied to those removed documents and we're getting the TAB_REFERS_TO_MISSING_DOCUMENT error.
Is there an easy way for us to check all the Tab objects and remove any Tabs that refer to the documents that we have removed? Or are we just going to have to loop through each of those objects, check the documentId, and compare it to the list of documents that we're sending?
