Basically this thread in Character Rant, the guy attempts to debunk MHS+ Naruto, and basically claims they're supersonic at best, but barely so. He makes some interesting points I have to admit. So should we reexamine the speed of the series? Do you agree or disagree with him? Would love to hear your thoughts!

I've read this before it's a load.

The guy bases half or more of his assumptions of speed, on whether or not a given drawing has a sound cone, I rest my case.

Pretty bad post for the following reasons:

- he bases most of his claims on assumptions like mach 5 Bijuudama while saying it's a "generous estimation" "Orochimaru could've put the barrier earlier" and "Sasori could've put the shield in the previous page"....

- he also says that you need to create mach cones/sonic booms to be faster than sound so following that logic MUI Goku is not faster than sound cause he doesn't create sonic beams when he moves

- He addressed certain feats such as Sasuke moving faster than Deidara's C0 with and Pain Rasenshuriken feat with "doesn't make sense" and "outliers" lol

-He ignored ALOT of other speed feats like Temari reacting to the sound from Tayuya's flute, Gaara reacting to explosions...

- He also brought up some anime only stuff while ignoring other anime-only stuff such as kid Sasuke outrunning explosions and Kakashi slicing up lightning

It is clear that only the top tier naruto characters are super fast in the manner that people think, I was just recently watching the sasuke & naruto vs momoshiki Boruto remake fight and it is clear that all three are ridiculously fast in comparison to other characters, Sasuke is practically a speedster but Momoshiki is not so fast that boruto can't keep up with him and all the other weaker characters aren't portrayed to be that fast either.

It's just some people just like to downplay on some series for a ridiculous reason

Most of those are just relying on art which is just as bad as using real life science when disscusing fiction but there are some interesting showings in there like Naruto needing a second to move couple meters, Kabuto and Tsunade being way below sound speed and others like Rinnegan Sasuke not being able to dash couple meters in time it takes Sakura to yell multiple words but in the end those are inconsistencies that happen in every series and are contradicted by other high end speed feats which that guy ignored labelling them as outliers which makes no sense.

Also I love how in this The Last thread people on reddit think that few thousands mach seems like an outlier and Naruto characters are not intended to be this fast meanwhile in comicvine if you don't think Naruto is FTL you are called a hater lmao Atleast topic creator seems like a normal person and labels Naruto where he should be mhs+ 👍

Lol for a second I thought the dude was saying EOS Naruto Characters weren't supersonic.
