XLR8 has out-sped lightning before, which IIRC is mach 1000? But his best feat is moving so fast time looks like it had frozen. Not moving slowly, completely stopped. So how fast would that be?

@Reiku: Actually, lightning is a bit below Mach 300. Unless it's not natural lightning (coming from the clouds, typically), in which case it should be considered far less than the speed of actual lightning, unless proven otherwise. Do you have a video or some context or something?
As for the time thing, IDK. Did time stop as he was still moving or did he stand still and it was still stopped? Context or a video would be nice for this as well.

@tsoj: It was natural lightning, so whatever speed it is, he's at least around there. I couldn't find a clip of it though. Basically he was on the ground, natural lightning was coming down, and he dodged it a second or two before it hit the ground.
As for the time seeming to stop, it was frozen while he was moving.

@Reika: Time probably isn't standing still, even though it seems like it is. He's just moving so fast that it seems like everything has stopped moving. Kinda like how Hiro from Heroes (who I has time powers) thought he was stopping time when he was actually just making it move very, very slowly. Even low tier characters like Haku from Naruto have been able to pull this same feat off with just their own speed (despite the other characters themselves having super speed). I don't know how to really get an accurate speed from this, although I'm pretty sure that being Mach 300 (and even much less than that) should produce similar effects, so it's not really that impressive a feat IMO, at least not compared to the lightning dodging.

XLR8 can accelerate 500 mph in 2 seconds, if he were to keep doing so in a minute, that means XLR8 would be moving 15,000 mph (since a minute is 60 seconds and that every 2 seconds he speeds up 500 mph, 30 x 2 equals 60 so doing 500 x 30 gives us 15,000 mph which is mach 19.5) and if he were to keep doing so in an hour, XLR8 would be moving 900,000 mph (60 minutes in an hour and every minute he goes 15000 mph, we multiply it by 60 and we get 900,000 mph which is mach 1172.9, lightning travels 220,000 mph or mach 286.7, clearly XLR8 is 4.09 times faster than lightning) so accelerate effortlessly here can travel mach 1172.9 (900,000 mph)

in first i need no more than that xlr8 time stopped feet( the fastest time we saw him ever ) to calculate his top speed . in Einstein's theory of relativity he states that any object travel at the speed of light the time stops for this object and any object travel close or even near to the speed of light the time go slower for it and any object travel faster that the speed of light the time go backward for it ....................he maybe not traveled at the speed of light and just traveled at very close speed to he speed of light which make time move very very very slow OR maybe he did and as we dont know exactly what speed he was then THEN XLR8 top speed range is between mach 855000 and mach 880 991.09 ( speed of light ) it is a very very high speed ....................i hope i had helped you thanx 😃😃😃😃😃😃

@kareemkimo: There's a difference in moving so fast that time slowed down/stopped, and moving so fast that certain things around you are at a standstill, which may I remind you that these things were humans and a baseball(hit by kids), even if we went with the fastest record of a baseball being pitch(105.1 mph) and the fastest record of a baseball flying off of a bat(123.9 MPH), both are still lower than 200 mph, heck it's like when Quick Silver was moving so fast every person in the room was at a standstill, and the bullets were moving slowly, he wasn't moving so fast time slowed down, he was just moving so much faster than the people and bullets in that room . I'd say at best, we could probably put XLR8's top speed at 9,000+ mph, as he was moving faster than the human eye could see .

XlR8's race has been implied to move faster than lightning. In the reboot when playing a sports game they move like flashes of light. Their lifespan is only a few weeks, so they move pretty fast.
