Despero could arguably solo. I mean, it basically comes down to whether Despero TPs Zatanna before Zatanna kills him

Zatana solos

@kevd4wg: I doubt Despero solos with Rachel and Emma present. Granted that doesn’t necessarily mean they win, but it is far from solo territory. Rachel has power and Emma has skill and enough power to be notably one of the most powerful telepaths, behind obviously Xavier, Jean, Shadow King, etc. Both women are planetary level telepaths alone without the need of Cerebro, so it shouldn’t be too far fetched to think that they could hold off Despero in a psychic battle.

Team girls win.

DC team win. Despero stomps Manhunter with little trouble, and he's easily above Emma and Rachel in the TP department. At best, they resist for a small amount of time, not long enough to help here through. After that, it's just a stupid TP fest at that point.

I think with perfect teamwork and giving prep to magic/reality manipulators like Zatanna and Sersi along with power telepaths who could unlock their full potential, team 2 wins.

Emma is a pretty meh telepath tbh, she simply isn't on the same level as Xavier and co. Rachel is much better, but Despero can still lol stomp people telepathically on that level, I see no reason why he can't do it here

@kevd4wg: Simple. You underestimate Emma. She isn’t Xavier, but you should note that very few are Xavier’s level of power and skill (them being Shadow King, Jean Grey, and Cassandra Nova). Still, Emma is seen one of those up there at Xavier’s group, an omega class telepath. Telepaths whose power and skill make them the most dangerous.

Emma is weaker than Rachel Summers, yet she stomped her in a telepathic match through pure skill alone. Not even Exodus, a psychic leech who has given the X-Men problems (even Xavier himself), could trump her. What Emma lacks in power, she excels in pure skill.

Add Rachel who can simply combine her powers with Emma and Despero will have far too much trouble to solo. After all, she is called a world class telepath for a reason.

So, bring me some skill feats regarding Despero that shows he can at least defend himself, so that we know that by prolonging the battle, he will eventually overwhelm her.

Sersi and Zatanna makes this interesting.I think them 2 with storm,rachel,emma,diana,and the rest can probably beat the boys team.

Zatanna is the MVP here, the rest i don't see them doing anything against the trio.

Despero drops most of them with TP, BA blitzes the rest of them to death, and Sinestro crushes what's left with his constructs.

@cognitive: Despero isn’t dropping most of anyone. He will most likely be caught in psychic combat with Emma and Rachel while the others are busy fighting off the other two. Powerful or not, skill is what matters in a psychic fight before considering power. As far as I can see, he is about Manhunters level, and assuming Manhunter is as skilled as he is powerful, he will at best overwhelm Emma in a prolonged stalemate eventually and then take care of Rachel through skill. Either way, Despero isn’t dropping anyone until he deals with Emma and Rachel.
