Not really, Alice has stolen the powers of the Spectre in the past and only had difficulty holding onto it because it didn't belong with her (Will of God and all that).

Not to mention the only time stealing powers have really backfired on Alice was when she tried with Lord Satannus and Lady Blaze decided to give her a little extra push.
