I'm going with the guy who clashes with Aquaman.

@captain_batman_ftw: I like Manta and made a thread for him but physically he struggles with Deathstroke.. He honestly shouldn't be clashing with Aquaman physically without plot or an in story explanation.

My point though is saying Black Manta clashes with Aquaman as a point to rank him doesn't work out properly.

@ecstaticgrace: Oh most definitely. I mean Manta has taken the flesh and blood of Aquaman, and harmed his friends and family. And to the manta clashing with Aquaman point yeah that's poor logic lol. I mean Doc Ock clashes with Spidey but we all know full well that Spidey could kill him if he really wanted to.

Manta win if he fought smart by staying at range and spamming his beam.

Manta won't fight smart and will go in for melee. Aquaman on land is still above Manta by a lot. Manta can't even hurt Arthur with a punch. Manta's best strength feat is messing up or throwing a car. That ain't outside Ock, and is in fact below.

OCK rocks this.

Doc Ock should actually stomp. Manta isnt even competition for Aquaman on land and Doc is not slow or lacking in strength at all.

Black Manta has the durability and ranged combat advantage. However, Doc Ock has adamantium arms which could overcome Black Manta impressive durability. Black Manta has the hand to hand combat advantage in terms of skill. However, having 4 extra arms may trump actual skill. Its a good and close match up. Its one of those match ups where writing and plot agenda would determine the winner. I would lean towards Black Manta though.

Black Manta. While the fight would be close I lean towards Manta due to a more varied arsenal and combat experience.

Black Manta. He can wreck Ock with his optic blasts. I think Ock would need the adamantium tentacles here.

Has Ock ever blocked projectiles with his arms? If he has the reflexes and durability to block Manta's shot, Ock should be able to win this.
