HO-LEE $!*#
This was great, man. I'm not afraid to admit this almost brought a tear to my eye. Really created the image of Captain America and how he was a man, made to win a war against men; but grew to become a Hero that would eventually play a huge role in wars against threats nobody could even imagine. He's a Hero both physically and mentally in every sense of the word, and the clips showed how through all his fights and adversity he never changed or backed down. It also got me thinking about how all those people that would visit Cap during his shows (while he was touring across country in ww2) had no idea who they were in the presence of. A man who was envisioned to fight for his country, but would grow into a hero that would protect the entire planet, leading a team comprised of the worlds most powerful heroes and greatest minds.
The song you chose really drove these thoughts into my head, because it was a consistent reminder of his roots from 1944 (or whatever), and how the world he grew up in is long gone and he's not only been forced to quickly adapt to the new world but also had to quickly fight for it as well. All his life he's been over looked and beaten down because of his small stature. Then all of a sudden, after a lab experiment he became an icon for national greatness and excellence.
Maybe I just has a soft spot for cap since he's one of my favourite heroes, but this was really good, and, perhaps you didn't intend for it to be; very deep. I loved it.
not gunna lie though, at the beginning I thought it was going to be whack lol

@itouchedtheboat: thanks man I really wanted it to deep. I was listening to Star Spangled Man and thought it would make a great video. The part with him falling and showing him get beat up on his way down and saying his iconic line is one of the first visions I had for the video and it fit perfectly in that part of the song

Honestly though, I just wish MCU Steve did and stood for more injustices to warrant this kind of respect and admiration from all heroes.
MCU Steve is certainly courageous like his 616 counterpart, but he doesn't really say anything insightful or stand up for regular Americans and against such social issues as racism like 616 has numerous times.

It was alright, they were dancing around some important themes throughout the movie but they never delivered.
That's just generic heroism. MCU Steve is certainly a noble guy but he doesn't have the social competence and intelligence 616 has. Like instead of those corny high school videos he did, he could've actually done real work for real issues like childhood pregnancy and delinquency. I'm not sure he even knows those are real problems in the U.S, he comes off as very ignorant tbh.

I loved it.

@itouchedtheboat: thanks man I really wanted it to deep. I was listening to Star Spangled Man and thought it would make a great video. The part with him falling and showing him get beat up on his way down and saying his iconic line is one of the first visions I had for the video and it fit perfectly in that part of the song

MCU Steve is certainly courageous like his 616 counterpart, but he doesn't really say anything insightful or stand up for regular Americans and against such social issues as racism like 616 has numerous times.

I loved it.

@itouchedtheboat: thanks man I really wanted it to deep. I was listening to Star Spangled Man and thought it would make a great video. The part with him falling and showing him get beat up on his way down and saying his iconic line is one of the first visions I had for the video and it fit perfectly in that part of the song

Explain yourself! Do you hate America and freedom? Are you some sort of Commie hippie draft-dodger?

@itouchedtheboat: thanks man I really wanted it to deep. I was listening to Star Spangled Man and thought it would make a great video. The part with him falling and showing him get beat up on his way down and saying his iconic line is one of the first visions I had for the video and it fit perfectly in that part of the song

I almost put a Chris Evans laughing video meme at the end but knew that would ruin it

Explain yourself! Do you hate America and freedom? Are you some sort of Commie hippie draft-dodger?
Honestly though, I just wish MCU Steve did and stood for more injustices to warrant this kind of respect and admiration from all heroes.
MCU Steve is certainly courageous like his 616 counterpart, but he doesn't really say anything insightful or stand up for regular Americans and against such social issues as racism like 616 has numerous times.

@juiceboks: the speech in Winter Soilder was good
And that time he said he wasn’t leaving a floating Sokovia with even one civilian on it
