Why do you think Drax wins easily? What are his advantages? I think Gamora has better feats of strength (lifting and firing the canon from Nebula's ship), speed (dodging an energy blast in the prison escape), better weapon (her sword against his knives), and IMO better feats of fighting skill. Also Groot was able to stab Drax with a finger/branch, which means Gamora has a good chance of piercing his skin with her sword.

Gamora is more skilled, but she doesn't really have the means to harm Drax. I mean, Drax manhandled her in the first flim. Yeah she didn't want to fight him but still.

In fairness to Gamora, just before Drax had her by the throat Gamora disarmed two prisoners and had a knife to Drax's throat before anyone could react. Then as you said she didn't want to fight and dropped the knives.

Groot stabbed Drax in the chest pretty easily when he needed to revive Drax after the Ronan fight. You don't think Gamora's sword can cut or stab Drax?

@xtreme1: Groot's branches are pretty damn impressive. They protected the Guardians from the Dark Ester's (Ronan's ship) explosion from the inside. So, it's not like it's a low showing.

However Gamora with her sword, cut apart Groot who pierced Drax, so it's maybe it's possible? It's entirely speculative, but Drax has the more solid showings to help him in this fight.

Drax has much higher durability, he hits harder by feats, and he is just as strong. Her speed doesn't really seem that much superior to Drax. Drax wins this but not easily.

Drax. Better all around feats. He is physically stronger, known for killing hundreds of kree soldiers although he walks around topless with nothing but knives. He took a beating from Ronan and trees crushing in his face at massive speeds completely unarmed and he bested Gamora in the cell without problem.

Gamora should win. She’s better at everything except strength and durability

Gamora, at least post-IW.

Drax is tougher, probably stronger, while Gamora is faster, and probably more skilled, but both are quite in the same leagues in all departement. Therefore, Gamora will strike faster and more often, while Drax will score a good one here and there: Classic gladiatorial fight of mobility vs toughness, and it can really go either way, 5/10 on both accounts.

My personal bet would be on Drax, as I value durability a bit over speed, but I do recognize the subjectivity of my preference.

You say that as if its a bad showing. If we assume it was being used to the same level of power as Yondu than that's actually a great feat that he wasn't cut straight through. This Arrow has gone through literally everything else it's ever encountered to my knowledge. Easily piercing through ships and large metal structures. No selling explosions as well.

Honestly you could make a case for that arrow being one of the best piercing weapons in the entire MCU.

Edit: I'm not even saying that Gamora necessarily can't cut him. But that wasn't a good example.

@amcu: I didn’t say it as a bad thing. It’s a fact. Drax has zero feats of being blade proof, and the one time he had a chance to show it, he got pierced.

And don’t try to pass off yondus best feats as kraglins during his first attempt and tell me I’m using a bad example

IIRC Drax tanked bullets did he not? As far as literal blades I can't remember any that he took. I'm not that picky with piercing feats though.
