PAX West has always been home to some amazing cosplay and this year is no exception. Day 1 of PAX West 2018 is over and attendees came out dressed as their favorite characters from a wide variety of games, comics, anime and movies. Here's a selection of the best cosplay we came across for you to peruse in this gallery.

As always, the costumes on show were pretty exceptional but these are some of our favorites that we saw. In the gallery above you'll find an amazing Spider-Man inspired by Insomniac's take on Marvel's beloved hero, who you'll see web-slinging his way around New York in Marvel's Spider-Man, which launches on September 7. Reviews for Spider-Man on PS4 are set to drop on Tuesday, September 4 at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET / 3 PM BST. Ahead of the launch, Insomniac Games has confirmed the game will take around 20 hours to beat and the first DLC expansion will launch on October 23.

The first DLC is titled "The Heist" and is the first chapter in a three-part expansion called "The City That Never Sleeps." Each part of the overall expansion will focus on a different character from Spider-Man's universe, and fans will no doubt have deduced that with the first one is about Black Cat. The second DLC, Turf Wars, is set to arrive in November, and the third, Silver Lining, in December.

The three DLCs add fresh story missions, new challenges, additional enemies, and more suits. Each one costs $10 on its own, but the whole The City That Never Sleeps collection is also available for $25. The City That Never Sleeps also comes included in the Spider-Man Digital Deluxe Edition, which it available for pre-order.
