Create ECDiffieHellmanPublicKey from ByteArray in Core 2.1

I am trying to use ECDiffieHelman feature in the Core 2.1 System.Security.Cryptography library.
On the the receiving end, I am not able to create back the Alice Public Key from byte Array.
var alice = ECDiffieHellman.Create();
var alicekey = alice.PublicKey.ToByteArray();
// Receiving End
// This command line does not work
ECDiffieHellmanPublicKey alicekey = new ECDiffieHellmanPublicKey(alicekey);
The MS docs seems to suggest that this is possible. What gives?
