In my setup of 3 VMs, I am trying to copy a file across all VMs. But the copy command is taking 8 or more minutes to copy a simple json file (file in kb)..

Here is my play

 - name: Copy Test file to All VMs
hosts: allhost
remote_user: "testuser"
gather_facts: no
tasks:
- name: Copy Test File to all VMs
copy:
src: ' item.path '
dest: /home/test/
owner: test
group: test
mode: 0600
ignore_errors: yes
become: yes
with_items: " hostvars['localhost']['files'] "
tags:
- TestDeployment

Could someone please help me to find where I am doing wrong. Or I should some other ansible module.

Please post a link to complete -vvv output (pastebin.com perhaps?).

It seems more likely that it would be setting up the connection to one or more of the VMs that takes time? Please post the output of the command with the -vvv flag.
